I am a follower of Jesus. I am a wife and a mother. I love to write and tell stories of my life and the life of my family. I enjoy sharing what I have learned through the seasons of my years as a single, newly married, home-schooling, public school, teens and college bound and beyond. My new best friend is my camera and capturing life around me in photos is one of my all-time favorite activities. My favorite people in the whole universe are my husband and four children. I love to cook, eat and entertain; my family loves that I cook and they love to eat. Cookbooks and cooking gadgets crowd the shelves in my kitchen. My church family means everything to me and they are an incredible source of inspiration, support and fellowship. My husband and I were involved in missionary work for over 20 years, serving in Europe, Russia, Central and Eastern Europe. We have traveled all over the world and our hearts are full of stories of God’s provision, faithfulness and redeeming love. My husband is Australian, but grew up in a Russian/Ukrainian family and speaks the language. He is an incredible husband and father and has a life’s teaching on the fatherheart of God and forgiveness. As we near the empty nest season of our lives, we are traveling and teaching more on God’s heart for the fatherless and motherless of our world. It is my desire that through this blog, others will be encouraged and strengthened in their faith. Some will be reconciled to their Heavenly Father, as well as their early father or mother, should they be estranged. We will learn from each other. We will enjoy the beauty of life around us. We will try recipes together. We will visit nations and cultures as we travel. And we will have fun together telling stories in our journey of life.

Dear sister Debby, so great to know you through your profile on the Blogger. I am also glad to know about you being follower of Jesus and have spent over 20 yrs a missionary in Europe, Russia,Central and Eastern Europe. It is also good to know that as you are travelling you are teaching more on God's heart for the fatherless and motherless of our World. Well about me I am in the Pastoral ministry for last 33 yrs in the great city of Mumbai, India a city with great contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live. We reach out as a church to the poorest of poor to bring healing to the broken hearted and give new life,hope, purpose and future to their lives. We also encourage young people as well as adults from the West to come on a short term missions trip to work with us. Have ever come to India?.
